My name is Nathan Fordyce. I am originally from York Springs, Penn., before moving down to Newnan, Ga in the summer of 2012. I am currently a senior at the University of Kansas where I am majoring in journalism at the William Allen White School of Journalism. I am also minoring in film media studies.
While at the University, I have had the opportunity to write for the school newspaper, the University Daily Kansan. I started writing for the Kansan my junior year as a swimming and diving beat writer. Throughout that year, I also wrote some stories on the men’s basketball team as well.
Over the summer of 2012, I started to write for Bleacher Report. With Bleacher Report, I write opinion stories over the Denver Broncos.
For my senior year at the University, I have covered cross country, women’s basketball, men’s basketball, track and field and football for the Kansan. I also started writing men’s basketball articles for KJHK 90.7 FM, the student run radio station.
Once I graduate in May 2013, I don’t know where my life will take me, but I’m looking forward to the challenges of it. My goal is to continue to writer sports, particularly college football, in one of the major cities in the States.
